What a project needs that a single door does not
A hotel or apartment project fits the same brush strip to hundreds of doors, often by contractors working floor by floor. The strip has to look the same on every door, fit gaps that are not all equal, stick to the door finish that was actually used, and arrive packed so each crew picks up the right item.
This page covers the brush sealing strip itself. A complete aluminium holder assembly is not part of the scope; when a holder is already specified, the strip is matched to it from end-section photos.
Survey the door gaps first
Door bottom gaps vary with the floor finish. Doors over carpet, tile and wooden floor in the same building can need different pile heights. Measure the gap under a sample of doors of each type before choosing sizes, and group the doors so each group gets one size.

Pile height, fixing and color
Door bottom gaps usually need taller pile than window grooves; tall pile such as 13-15 mm is common where gaps are large. The strip can be self-adhesive, hot melt adhesive, or insert-type for an existing holder.

Test on the real door before the project order
Apply sample lengths to a few real doors with the actual paint or laminate, after the cleaning the installers will use. Open and close the doors, check that the pile closes the gap without dragging on the floor, and check holding after the period your own standard requires. Approve one specification per door group.
Packing by door type
Pack and label each door group separately so installers do not mix sizes. Rolls or bagged lengths can be labeled with the door type or floor, and cartons marked the same way.
