Hot Melt Adhesive Brush Strip for Surface-Mounted Sealing

A hot melt adhesive brush strip is a PP brush pile strip whose backing carries a layer of hot melt adhesive. A release paper or film covers the adhesive until installation. The strip is used where the sealing position is a flat surface rather than a groove: the installer removes the liner and presses the strip onto a clean, dry surface.

The product name describes the adhesive system, not the size. Width, brush height, density, color, liner type and roll length are all confirmed per order, and the bonding result must be checked on the buyer's real surface before a repeat specification is fixed.

Buyers often compare three ways of fixing a brush seal. The right one depends on whether the position has a groove, what the surface is made of and how the product will be sold.

Adhesive brush strip performance depends on the surface as much as on the strip. Before quotation, tell us where the strip will be mounted and send a photo of the position. The points below decide whether hot melt adhesive is suitable or whether a tape-backed or groove-insert option should be tested instead.

• Check that the liner peels cleanly and the strip lies flat
• Check holding after the period your own standard requires
• Operate the door, window or panel and check that the brush closes the gap
• Record the approved width, brush height, liner and color for repeat orders
